(Six
weeks Duration: Twice a year)

Objective
of the Course :
The object of the course is to introduce
Yoga Enthusiasts to a basic Systematised, Theoretical & Practical
aspect of Yoga.

Time
and Duration :
This course is conducted twice a year
starts on 15th of Jan (Last date of receiving application is
31st December.) and 2nd one starts on 2nd of May (Last date
of receiving application is 31st March.), Duration is for 6 weeks
every year.

Nature
of the Course :
The course will residential and of an
intensive type. It will be available for men and women irrespective
of caste or creed. During the course, students will not be allowed
to leave the campus. Students suffering from any ailment are advised
in their own interest not to seek admission for this course. Any student
found unfit after joining the course will be asked to leave the course
if the medical advice suggests so.

Qualification
for Admission :
Minimum qualification
(HSC Pass) for admission will be matriculation or an equivalent
examination, with ability to follow lectures in English. No student
will be admitted who has appeared in qualifying examination and result
is awaited. Student visa is essential for foreign students.

Preference
in Admission :
Candidates having qualification in Physical
Education and those deputed by State Governments and educational institutions
recognised by Government will be given preference in admission. The
Institute provides for reservations for the Scheduled Casts/Scheduled
Tribes/OBC candidates as per the guidelines issued by the Government
of India on the subject from time to time and as applicable to educational
institutions.

Age
Limit and Health :
The candidate's age should be below 45
years at the time of admission and he/she must submit with his/her
application, a certificate of physical fitness signed by a registered
medical practitioner. For Foreign Students there is no age Limit.
Application of Yoga Aspirants above the age of 35 may be considered
by the executive committee in deserving places.
In case a candidate is found
unfit to undergo the course, his/her training will be discontinued and
no refund of fees/charges will be made.

Diet will be strictly vegetarian
in the Indian sense of the word and very simple in nature.

N.B.:Lonavla does not have the
facility of exchanging foreign currencies. Hence, the foreign students
are advised to make their own arrangements by way of travellers' cheque
or Indian currency before reaching Lonavla. The fees and other charges
as printed above for Indian students are at the subsidised rates.

The application should be accompanied
by true COPIES OF EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATE, CHARACTER CERTIFICATE,
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE AND XEROX COPY OF D.D AS REGISTRATION FEE OF Rs.150/-(foreign
students may pay this on arrival) Physical Education Teachers, Physical
Education Students and other teachers in India should send their
applications through the Head of their Institutions and the certificate
given at the end of the application form should be filled in by the
Head of the Institute with the rubber stamp/seal of his designation
affixed. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Students after
getting confirmation of their admission are expected to send 50% of
charges in advance. in case of non receipt the same admission will stand
cancelled and no claim will be entertained for admission.

All the subjects will be taught
in relation to Yoga. So far as the practical side is concerned, training
will be impared in Yogic practices that are recommended by the Central
Advisory Board of Physical Education and Recreation & NCERT for Secondary
Schools.
Medium of instruction will
be English / Hindi
