Panchakarma exactly does the same. expelling the imbalance dosha or by encountering the same to bring back its balance. It is the process of shodhan or shaman.

NASYA – Special treatment with facial massage, steam and nasal administration. What for ? – For calm and quiet sleep. For enhancement of intellect. To overcome mental fatigue. For sharp sensory organs. For neck, shoulder pain and hair problems
EYE BASTI – Warm oil bath with gram flour dough ring around eyes. For different sorts of eye problems like dryness of eyes, weak eyesight, reddening and pains of the eyes.
SHIRODHARA – Pouring of warm medicated oil or milk or buttermilk on third eye. Effective for- Quiet and calm sleep psychological problems, stress, tension, hair complaints.
POTTALI (Pinda-Sweda) NAVARAKIZHI (a) Warm massage with bolus of medicated rice and medicated milk.
ELAKlZHI – (b)Warm massage with bolus of herbal pastes and medicated oil. Effective for i) Removing stiffness and pain from muscles. ii) Strengthening the nerves iii) Good for reducing suffering of facial paralysis, hemiplegia, multiple sclerosis, parkinsons disease. iv)To improve muscle tone, tendons, muscle ligaments and all sorts of vata problems.
KATIBASTI – Warm oil bath with gram flour dough ring on back. Strengthen vertebral column and spinal chord. Help to develop stamina. Reduce back pain. Help in reducing problems of spondylitis, sciatica, slip disc, stiffness in pelvic region, osteoporosis.
HRUDA BASTI – Warm oil bath with gram flour dough ring around the heart region. Good for heart patients to rejuvenate treat muscles and strengthen cardiac activity. Spiritually help to calm down.
KARNAPURAN – Pouring warm medicated oil in ears with special massage around ear and on face, lower neck by using marma technique followed by facial steam. Effective on ear problems, jaw problems, fatigue, facial impressions and ageing.
SANDHIBANOHA – Special treatment for joint pains by using warm medicated oil and binding material. Helps in knee pain, shoulder pain, arthritis.
PADABAHYNGA – Massage on sole by kasa wati and ShataDhoutGhrut( 100 times washed ghee). Highly effective to take out toxins saturated around brain and from the eyes. It brings calm sleep, reduce leg pains and take out dryness of the feet. Instant reliever of fatigue.
ABAHYNGA & SWEDANA – Whole body massage by Ayurvedic warm medicated oil with massage special traditional technique followed by herbal steam bath for anti ageing, fatigue removing, strength, vitality and good personality.
