Dr. B.R. Sharma

Dr Sharma received his Doctorate (in Dharmshastra) in 1984 and specialization in Manuscriptology in 1982. He joined Kaivalyadhama, Lonavla as a Research Officer in Jan. 1986 and worked for 12 years. He has worked as Assistant Director of Research and Head of Department of Philosophico- Literary Research in Yoga for the last 15 yrs. At present (from March 1, 2013) he is working as Principal of Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis, Kaivalyadhama, Lonavla.. He is a recognized Research Guide for M.Phil and PhD. students of Lokmanya Tilak Maharashtra University, Pune. He has also worked as a Member of the Advisory Board of the TKDL Project, Govt. of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH, New Delhi, as well as a Visiting Professor/Resource Person at various Universities/Institutions in India. Dr. Sharma has delivered lectures and Key Note Speeches, conducted workshops on yoga both in India and abroad. To his credit, he has forty research papers published in proceedings, souvenirs & Yoga journals and ten books in collaboration published by Kaivalyadhama (such as Yoga Kosha, Yoga Concordance Vol. (I-VII), and various Critical Editions of Traditional Yoga Texts). He has worked as Managing Editor and Executive Editor for Yoga Mimamsa Journal being published by Kaivalyadhama. He has participated in 12 International and 16 National Conferences/Seminars/Symposia, etc. Dr. Sharma is teaching various courses. run by Kaivalyadhama particularly Patanjala Yoga Sutra to D.Y.Ed & Traditional Hatha Yoga to C.C.Y. for the last 25 yrs.

Prof. G.S. Sahay
Prof. Sahay is a postgraduate in Sanskrit and has been awarded a gold medal in this subject. He also holds a
certificate in yoga course. He has a very methodical and systematic way of approach towards his work. His
area of interest lies in Indian Philosophy and Traditional Yoga and he believes in correctly understanding of
Traditional Yoga and promoting Traditional Practices. He has been in the teaching and research field for past 35
years. He is also a Managing Editor of the Yoga Mimamsa Research quarterly. He has around 35 research papers
published.
Principal Ranjeet Singh Bhogal

Prof.R. S. Bhogal is a post graduate in psychology. Also, he is qualified in the NET exam (Organizational Psychology) with 17 years of research experience and twenty years of teaching experience. He was also Managing Editor and Associate Editor of Yoga Mimamsa for 17 years. He is the author of i) Psychophysiology of Traditional Yoga (in Korean) ii) Yoga and Modern Psychology (in English and German) ii) Yoga and Mental Health and Beyond (English). Prof.R. S. Bhogal is credited with a large number of scientific papers and is a recipient of Shivram Apte award of the Fergusson College, Pune, and Bharat Jyoti award by IIFS, New Delhi. Seventeen years of research experience, twenty years of teaching experience and seventeen years as Managing Editor and Associate Editor of Yoga Mimamsa makes him a worthy speaker on Yoga Psychology in India and abroad. He is also a meditation expert with a calm poised temperament.

Shri R.K. Bodhe
Shree Bodhe is a post graduate in Philosophy and Sanskrit. He has also done his M.Phil in Philosophy. He has
been working at the Institute as a Research Officer,. He is faculty member for various courses conducted for
past 27 years at college. In collaboration with others, he has published books and Research Papers. He is a
Guest Faculty, Member of the Board of Studies and an Examiner at various universities. Presently, Shri Bodhe is
working on the biography of Swami Kuvalayanandaji. He has published nearly twenty research papers.

Mr. D.D. Kulkarni
Mr. Kulkarni is post graduate in Science and is a Research Officer at the Institute for the past two decades. He
has a deep interest in Astrology. His areas of research Interest are neuropsychological and neurophysiological
aspects of the role of human information processing and signal detection. He has published several papers
in indexed journals of national and international standards. Mr. Kulkarni has attended several national and
international conferences worldwide, for example, at the University of De-Minho, Braga, Portugal and Hugarain
University of Physical Education, Budapest, Europe. He has been a resource person at Braga, seminars and is a
co-author of a forthcoming book on Scientific Exposition in Pranayama.
Ms. Suchint Kaur Sodhi
Ms. Sodhi Is an Arts graduate with a& diploma in yoga. An expert in the field of teaching yoga practice and
teaching methodology, she has assisted in designing various courses of the College. She was a resource person
in NCERT for developing the yoga syllabus and she has conducted 200 yoga workshops. She is invited as an
examiner by various institutions. She has visited Russia, London, South America, China, Italy, Holland for yoga
training on deputation by the Government of India. She has hosted television and radio programs on Yoga in
India and abroad. She is associated with our Institute for the past thirty years.
Shri Bharat Singh
Shree Singh is an Arts graduate with a Diploma in Yoga. His field of interest includes counseling, ShuddhiKriya
techniques and intensive yoga practice. He is working in the field of yoga for the past twenty seven years. He
has also conducted several yoga sessions for industries and conducted yoga camps at various places of India.
He has visited S. Korea, Holland, Egypt, and Suriname for Yoga Training and Teaching.

Mrs. Sandhya R. Dixit
Mrs. Dixit is a Science graduate with a Diploma in Yoga. She has been teaching yoga for the past twenty five
years at various levels. She is a faculty member of the G.S College of Yoga and Cultural synthesis. She specializes
in Teaching Methodology. She has also conducted several yoga sessions for industries such as Larson and
Tubro, Wartsila, and she has conducted yoga camps in Agra, Bhopal, Jaipur, Udaipur, Andaman, Delhi. She
has visited Russia, Macau and Taipeh (Taiwan), and Dubai for Yoga Training and Teaching. Her field of interest
includes yoga teaching and therapy as well as Shuddhi Kriya techniques. Moreover, Ms. Dixit has designed a few
CDs for Yoga Modules.
Dr. S.D. Bhalekar
Dr. Bhalekar is an Ayurvedacharya with a postgraduate Diploma in Psychiatric Counseling. He is in this field
for the past twenty years. He is very enthusiastic, jovial and down-to-earth. He works as the Medical Officer
of the Institute’s Health Care Centre and as a Lecturer, at the Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and
Cultural Synthesis, Kaivalyadhama. He specializes in teaching Anatomy and Physiology of Yogic Practices. He
is the author of a book titled ‘Yoga Darpan’. Dr.Bhalekar has a unique blend of modern as well as traditional
approaches to yoga in his teachings and writings. He has conducted workshops and exhibitions for awareness
about AIDS, skin diseases, IHD, stress management and general health awareness.
Dr. Jagdish Bhutada
Dr. Bhutada is a highly qualified and experienced Ayurvedic doctor from Pune. His aim is to spread the
knowledge of Ayurveda (for preventing disease), based on Ayurvedic principles and through health camps,
workshops and lectures. His delightful personality and cheerful disposition to work continues to inspire
all those who participate in his camps. Panchakarma section of the Health Care Centre functions under his
guidance.

Shri Chandrakant G. Shinde
Shri Shinde has acquired Masters degree in Education and Yoga. He also holds a Diploma in Yoga. He is a
good singer. He is a creative and innovative individual, working as a Yoga teacher for various courses of the
college. He specializes in Teaching Methods in Yoga and has been in the teaching profession since 2005. He
has a profound interest and aptitude for teaching philosophical aspects of Yoga and Education. He conducts
lectures at various short term courses at Kaivalyadhama, namely, for the School Teachers of Maharashtra State
Government, AYUSH scheme for Central Government School Teachers since 2006. He has also assisted in
designing the syllabus of various yoga courses.
Mr. Rajanish Sharma
Mr. Sharma is an Arts graduate with a Diploma in Yoga, working in the field of yoga for the past three years
He is an enthusiastic and promising young man with new ideas. He works as Assistant Yoga Teacher at the
Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis, Lonavla. He is also shouldering the responsibility
of being the Boys Warden, He always strives to excel in yoga teaching and training. Moreover, he organizes the
cultural events of the College.

Dr. Gururaj Doddoli
Dr. Doddoli Is a Residential Ayurvedic Medical Officer at the Panchakarma section for the past three years
under the guidance of Dr Jagdish Bhutada. He plays an important role in consultations and looks after the
indoor patient and medical emergencies.
