Yoga for Obesity

Two weeks residential program

Obesity is now one of the widespread health issues around the globe which is costing many lives due to the co-morbidity. Stress in any form at professional and personal levels is identified as one of the major causes of obesity.

With Naturopathy and yoga, it is easy to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle, beneficial for physical and mental health. Addressing such mandate for management of obesity, Naturopathy and yoga provide an wholesome approach in treatment of obesity and holistic health.

Aims of this program:

• To offer a weight-loss regime through an ancient system of natural and holistic medicine.
• To promote holistic living through the ancient techniques of yoga postures, that focusses on regulated breathing.
• Purification and detoxification through asanas, pranayamas, sattvic diet and meditation.

Daily Schedule

5:30 am to 6:00 am – One glass lukewarm lemon water

6:30 am to 7:00 am – Yogic kriya (cleansing)

7:00 am to 8:15 am – Yogic abhyas

8:30 am to 8:45 am – Cold Pressed Juice 

8:45 am to 9:15 am – Walk

9:15 am to 11:30 am – Therapy in nature cure

11:45 am to 12:00 noon – Pre-lunch (salads and sprouts)

12:00 noon – Lunch (vegetable 1 bowl, 1 glass fresh buttermilk, chapatti(jowar/nachani)

1:00 pm to 2:00 pm – Rest

2:00 pm to 3:30 pm – Naturopathy treatment

3:30 pm to 4:00 pm – Fruits

4:00 pm to 4:45 pm – Walk

5:00 pm to 6:00 pm – Asana abhyaas

6:15 pm to 7:00 pm – Pranayama

7:15 pm to 8:00 pm – Dinner (vegetable 1 bowl and light moong dal khichdi)

8:15 pm to 8:45 pm – Interaction session
