Bharat Yoga Mala, Mumbai
Bharat Yoga Mala was attended by approximately 200 members from BARC family, with Shri. Jayakumar K., Controller of BARC, as the chief guest. Senior faculty members of Kaivalyadhama, Dr. N. Ganesh Rao delivered insights on “Yoga for Mental Health,” while Mrs. Shilpa Ghone conducted a practical “Chair Yoga” session.

Swami Kuvalayananda’s 141st birth anniversary, Kaivalayadhama, Lonavala
We paid tribute to the visionary Yogi and Scientist who pioneered the integration of yoga with scientific research. A delightful cultural performance was done by the students of Kaivalya Vidya Niketan (KVN) School and Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis. A poster competition named ‘Poster Master’ on the life and work of Swamiji was inaugurated in the esteemed hands of Dr. D. R. Karthikeyan ji.

The session was chaired by Dr. Satbir Bedi, Chairperson, PSEB and attended by Shri. Prem Kumar, Vice Chairman PSEB, Shri. Avikesh Gupta, PCB, Secretary along with some senior government officials. The audience actively engaged in the yoga practices, showcasing their enthusiasm in learning more about Bharat Yoga Mala initiative.

Bharat Yoga Mala reaches Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, Bolpur
Prof. Samiran Mondal, Principal, Yoga College, Visva-Bharati Santiniketan highlighted the importance of Kaivalyadhama in the field of yoga and benefits of incorporating yoga into daily life. Dr. Sharadchandra Bhalekar actively engaged the audience with a lecture on mental wellbeing and yoga practices. 270+ students and teachers from 10 colleges joined us for the event.

Bharat Yoga Mala reaches Heartfulness Institute, Chennai
The most recent event, saw an enthusiastic participation of 1000+ individuals. The event was graced by Shri. Suresh Prabhu, who highlighted the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life. Dr. R. Elangovan, Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Chapter Committee – Indian Yoga Association, delivered an insightful presentation on the role of yoga and meditation in improving mental well-being. Event was supported by Heartfulness Institute and Central Bank of India.

Ms. Imon Chakraborty inaugurated the event led by Shri. Ravi Dixit in Kolkata. The event was attended by Shri. PC Khurana, Zonal Head Central Bank of India and by members and invitees of Heartfulness, Rotary Club of Kolkata New Alipore, Lions Club of North Kolkata, Yogic Sangh, Yoga Life, Yoga and Happiness, Rabindra Sarovar Friends Forum, Ved Prachar Trust, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Yoga center Dept of Physical education Jadavpur University & Indian Yoga Association.

Bharat Yoga Mala reaches Nalanda University, Rajgir
The session was presented by Shri. Subodh Tiwari, CEO – Kaivalyadhama, and was attended by some of the senior members of the Nalanda University – Prof. Panchanan Mohanty, Professor and Dean of the School of Languages and Literature/Humanities, Dr. Ramesh Pratap Singh Parihar, Deputy Registrar and Dr. Godabarisha Mishra, Professor and Dean of the School of Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religion. Approximately 200 students and staff took part.

International Conference
Shri. Subodh Tiwari, CEO Kaivalyadhama along with Prof. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai, VC, Somaiya Vidyavihar University welcomed the academicians, delegates and students at Somaiya Vidyavihar to deliberate on the effective integration of yoga in Higher Education. The esteemed speakers and experts discussed the NEP implementation and role of Yoga in Human development apart from the other experiential sessions.

We had a wonderful session at Auro University with Sri Aurobindo Integral Life Center, Surat, in the gracious presence of Prof. Dr. Primal Vyas, Vice Chancellor of Auro University. Mr. Mayank Lunavat, EC member represents Kaivalyadhama. The mutual enthusiasm of 325+ yoga enthusiasts prompted us on our journey ahead. We had a beautiful yoga session at Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad in the esteemed presence of the divine Pujya Swami Parmatmanandaji Saraswati, President of Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad and Shri. Subodh Tiwari, Secretary & CEO, Kaivalyadhama. The collective enthusiasm of 200+ yoga enthusiasts provided encouragement and propelled us forward on our journey. We had a wonderful session at the Dolphin’s Cove in the august presence of Admiral R. Hari Kumar PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff with 13 flag officers & Naval officers of Eastern Naval Command Naval officers. Bharat Yoga Mala combines traditional yoga practices with scientific research to release stress and improve mental health. We will continue garlanding Bharat with yoga for mental well-being through our yoga journey.

We embarked on the incredible journey of BHARAT YOGA MALA in Lonavala In the presence of our Chief guest Admiral R. Hari Kumar PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff. Inauguration of Justice M. L. Pendse Centre for Cancer Survivors and Lifestyle Conditions, Lonavala
Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Dr. D. Y. Chandrachud, inaugurated the Justice M. L. Pendse Centre for Cancer Survivors and Lifestyle Conditions. The centre’s inauguration was accompanied by a very interesting symposium on ‘Conflict Resolution, Internal and External,” co-organised with the Bombay Bar Association. Mr. Justice Abhay Oak, Judge, Supreme Court of India, Mr. D. K. Upadhyay, the Chief Justice of Bombay High Court, were also present for the inauguration.

Inauguration of the Centenary Celebrations and 3-day National Conference 2023, Lonavala
Kaivalyadhama, celebrated its centenary with a grand inauguration by the Honourable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu; and in the esteemed presence of the Governor of Maharashtra, Mr. Ramesh Bais; Minister of Women and Child Development, Maharashtra Government – Ms. Aditi Tatkare and Shri. Suresh Prabhu, Chairman, Centenary Committee. The momentous occasion marked the commencement of a 3-day National Conference on the Integration of Yoga in School Education.
Shri. Arif Mohammed Khan, Hon’ble Governor of Kerala was the chief guest for the Valedictory ceremony.

Commemorative Coin Release, Mumbai
Shri. Shaktikanta Das, Governor, Reserve Bank of India unveiled the commemorative coin of ₹100 at an event organised at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai. The coin is made of an 80-20 silver alloy is 44m in diameter and weighs 35 grams. Event was attended by leading bankers and government officials.

Teachers Training Program: Introducing Yoga to Children with Special Needs, Lonavala Kaivalyadhama, in collaboration with the Institute for Salutogenesis and Complementary Medicine (ISCM), Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV), Puducherry, conducted 2 workshops aiming to equip the teachers with necessary knowledge and skills to introduce yoga into their lives and children with Neurodevelopmental disorders.

The 99th foundation day was celebrated through a unique confluence of Yoga and Art. Competitions and exhibitions of paintings, photography, and dance performances, promoted artistic expression and nurtured community involvement. The grand finale was held on 7th October 2023, was graced by Shri. Dhiren Mathur and Shri. Nanik Rupani who awarded the winners of the competition.
