Prof. R.K. Bodhe is a M.A. (Philosophy & Sanskrit), M. Phil. (Philosophy) Worked as Research Officer, Philosophico-Literary Research Department, Kaivalyadhama, Lonavla, for 30 yrs. At present working as Asstt. Director of Research & Head in the same Deptt. Also delivering lectures for various Yoga courses at Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis, Prof. Bodhe has an extensive experience of thirty years in editing and translating Yogic Texts. Resource person to several universities and institutions, he is author of several original research papers in Traditional Yoga and co-author of several Volumes. Also working as Associate Editor of Yoga Mimamsa. His areas of interest include Yoga Philosophy, Applied aspects of Traditional Yoga, Value Education and Philosophical bases of esoteric sciences
Dr. Bandita Satapathy is working as a Research Officer, in the Philosophico Literary Research Department of Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala. She is also engaged as a Lecturer in G. S. College, Kaivalyadhama. Completing her M. A, M. Phil, Ph. D in Sanskrit, she is involved in doing researches in the areas of Yoga. Dr. Bandita has undergone courses on Manuscriptology from Pune University and short term Courses in Computational Linguistics, from the Department of Linguistics, Deccan College Pune. Earlier she worked in the Center of Advanced Study in Sanskrit, University of Pune and at Sri Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, Odisha in research positions. She has delivered lectures on ‘Sanskrit Phonetics’ at the Central University of Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, Varanasi. She has published Research papers in National Journals ‘Aranyakam’ Araa, Bihar, in Yoga Mimamsa of Kaivalyadhama and in annual Magazine, Central Library, BHU. She has also presented papers in National and International Conferences.
Dr. S.D.Pathak, M.S. , Surgeon, Mumbai, Yoga Teacher from Ambika Yoga Kutir, Author of “Yoga and Its application in different diseases” and “Yoga Therapy manual for Yoga Teachers.” He has published his new book “Yoga Therapy Through a Doctor’s Eye”. He is examiner and member of Board of Studies for Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga, Kaivalyadhama, Lonavla.
Mr. Ankur Pandey, (M.A. Yoga) from Uttarakhand Open University, working as a Yoga Teacher. Completed Diploma in Yoga Education (D.Y.Ed.) in 2013 in Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Lonavla. Having experience of working as a Yoga Teacher at Jawahar Navoday Vidyalayas in Gandhinagar and Kinnaur for 3 months each and worked in Kendriya Vidyalaya (INS Shivaji), Lonavla for 1 academic year . Also worked as a Warden in G.S.College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis for one and half year. Now working in G.S.College of Yoga as a Yoga Teacher since Feb’2016.
Dr Bhalekar, Ayurvedacharya and Master in counselling and Psychotherapy (M.S. con-psy) has ben working as an Principal I/C at Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga & Cultural Synthesis, Kaivalyadhama., Lonavala. He also worked as a Residential Medical Officer at Health care center, Kaivalyadhama and made many yoga therapy modules and introduced successfully in thousands of patients. He has been teaching the subjects- Anatomy-physiology of Yoga, Yoga therapy, Yoga and Mental Health, Yoga -Ayurveda for yoga courses.
Prof. R. S. Bhogal is a post graduate in psychology. Also, he is qualified in the NET exam (Organizational Psychology) with 17 years of research experience and twenty years of teaching experience. He was also Managing Editor and Associate Editor of Yoga Mimamsa for 17 years. He is the author of i) Psychophysiology of Traditional Yoga (in Korean) ii) Yoga and Modern Psychology (in English and German) ii) Yoga and Mental Health and Beyond (English). Prof.R. S. Bhogal is credited with a large number of scientific papers and is a recipient of Shivram Apte award of the Fergusson College, Pune, and Bharat Jyoti award by IIFS, New Delhi. Seventeen years of research experience, twenty years of teaching experience and seventeen years as Managing Editor and Associate Editor of Yoga Mimamsa makes him a worthy speaker on Yoga Psychology in India and abroad. He is also a meditation expert with a calm poised temperament.
Dr. Raghavendra Bhat (Vidwat., M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D.) has worked as a Research Officer in Sri Venkateshwara Vedic University Tirupati, for one Year in field of Manuscripts Editing, Original text editing and Publishing the same, Organizing the Research Programs Etc
Worked as a Sanskrit lecturer in Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College Bangalore, For two hand half year and worked as a Member of Anti-Ragging Committee, Member Of Disciplinary Committee, Cultural Co-Ordinater, Class Teacher Etc.
Dr. Rajani Pradhan, working as lecturer at G. S. College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis, Kaivalyadhama is a sincere student of Yoga and Vedanta. After completing MA in Yogashastra, she has done her Doctorate in Yogashastra from Kavi Kulaguru Kalidasa Sanskrit University Ramtek, Nagpur under the able guidance of Prof. Dr. B. R. Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Health and Wellness, HoD, Dept. of Yogic Science, Sri Sri University, Cuttack. She has cleared NET in January, 2018. She is studying Vedanta with Swami Advayananda, Head of Chinmaya International Foundation, Velianad, Kerla and learning Indian ancient Music, Dhrupad with Ustad Shree Bahauddin Dagar. She has been teaching Yogashastraat various institutes including Swami Vivekananda Yoga Kendra, Navi Mumbai, affiliated to SVYASA Bangaluru; K.J. Somaiya Centre for Buddhist Studies, University of Mumbai; Bharatiya Sanskriti Peetham, K. J. Somaiya affiliated to Kavi Kulaguru Kalidasa Sanskrit Univ. Nagpur; Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula (Chinmaya University) etc.
Brig(Retd) Suhas Dharmadhikari, has served in the Army for 36 years and retired as Brigadier. An alumnus of Satara Sainik School, NDA and IMA.
An Artillery officer handled all types of guns including BOFORS. He handled the Bofors guns in the Siachen Glacier and during the Kargil operations.Commanded 33 Medium Regiment equipped with 130 MM Russian Guns. A graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and MSc (Defence Studies), Madras University.

Dattatraya D. Kulkarni is working in the field of neurophysiology and neuropsychology of yogic concept since 25 years.
His main area of interest is signal detection theory and psychophysics. His current area of research is bio-electrical activity of yoga practices and nostril dominance. He has attended various National and International conferences.

Dr. Praseeda Menon is Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from University of Pune. Currently working with Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Lonavala, as Research Officer in Psychology & Teaching Faculty in Research Methodology.Served as visiting faculty in Human Resource Management for the BBA course at ISB&M, Pune in 2009.Worked with Wipro BPO Solutions Ltd., Pune, from 2003-2006.Worked as a trainee copywriter in Notre Advertising, Kolhapur, in 1996
Mr. Anukool Deval is working as Yoga Teacher in G.S. College of Yoga & Cultural Synthesis from April 2016. He conducts Practical Classes and lectures on Teaching Methods for Yogic Practices. Prior to this, after completing his Diploma in Yoga Education (DYEd), he worked as Yoga Teacher for Kaivalyadhama Mumbai for 6 years. He has conducted Yoga Classes for Mumbai Police Commandos and also in Corporate Sector with companies like Motilal Oswal Securities Ltd., Bank of America, The Oberoi Hotel, ONGC, Syntel Inc.,GlaxoSmithKline, etc. He has conducted workshops in Singapore Sun Festival and lectures on Basics of Yoga in Real Yoga Institute, Singapore in 2010.
Ms. Neeta Gade, after completing her graduation in Chemistry, in Pune University and BNMS (Naturopathy), has worked as Yoga Teacher and Naturo-therapist in Institute of Nature Cure and Yogic Science, Bhosari one year. She has completed Diploma in Yoga Education (D.Y.Ed.) in 2001 in Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Lonavla. She has completed 4 months Internship after the course. She has worked as Yoga Teacher in Symbiosis deemed University for a year. She has worked in University of Pune 11.5 years as Yoga Teacher, she has conducted regular classes of University students and employees, she conducted 13 certificate courses of Yoga, in University with collaboration of Kaivalyadhama and she has also conducted theory lectures in Teaching Methods and practical for certificate course. Dr. N. Ganesh Rao
Dr. N. Ganesh Rao is a highly acclaimed and inspiring name in the field of Yoga in India having conducted till date more than 18000 sessions (including specialist Workshops, presentation of Papers in National and International Conferences, Counselling sessions, etc.) in Yoga covering all its aspects, theoretical and practical. Dr. Rao resigned as a Finance Executive in one of the largest Automobile Companies in the country after a service spanning more than a decade and half.
Dr. Rao has carved a niche for himself in the field of Sports as well which includes a 17-year career as a Professional Football Player and subsequently as Coach at National Level winning many awards and recognition. He has coached more than 5000 youngsters in football.
Dr. Rao has been a regular trekker for the past 25 years in the Himalayas and Sahyadri mountains.

Yogacharya Dr. Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani is Director of the Centre for Yoga Therapy Education and Research (CYTER), and Professor of Yoga therapy at the Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University, Pondicherry (www.sbvu.ac.in).
He is also Chairman of the International Centre for Yoga Education and Research at Ananda Ashram, Pondicherry, India (www.icyer.com) and Yoganjali Natyalayam, the premier institute of Yoga and Carnatic Music and Bharatanatyam in Pondicherry (www.rishiculture.in). He is son and successor of the internationally acclaimed Yoga team of Yogamaharishi Dr. Swami Gitananda Giri Guru Maharaj and Yogacharini Kalaimamani Ammaji, Smt.Meenakshi Devi Bhavanani.
He is a Gold Medallist in Medical Studies (MBBS) with postgraduate diplomas in both Family Health (PGDFH) as well as Yoga (PGDY) and the Advanced Diploma in Yoga under his illustrious parents in 1991-93. Dr. Sat Bir S. Khalsa
Sat Bir Singh Khalsa, Ph.D. is Research Director for the Yoga Alliance and the Kundalini Research Institute, Research Associate at the Benson Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, Research Affiliate at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He has conducted research on yoga and yoga therapy since 2001 and is a practitioner/instructor of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 1971. His research has evaluated yoga for insomnia, chronic stress, and anxiety-related disorders, and in the workplace and public schools. He works with the International Association of Yoga Therapists promoting yoga research as scientific director for the annual Symposium on Yoga Research and editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Yoga Therapy. He is author of the Harvard Medical School ebook Your Brain on Yoga, and chief editor of the medical textbook The Principles and Practice of Yoga in Health Care.
Dr. Arthur Brownstein
Arthur Brownstein, MD, MPH, DYED, is a former Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii at Manoa. He currently practices primary care medicine at the Hale Lea Family Medicine Clinic in Kilauea, Hawaii, USA, where, in addition to his regular clinic duties, he instructs patients in various aspects of Yoga Therapy. He also lectures on Yoga Therapy at the Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He and his wife, Nutan have both completed the D.Y.Ed course at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, he through the G.S. College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis in Lonavla, and she through the Ishwardas Chunilal Yogic Health Centre in Mumbai. They have both also worked with Dr. Dean Ornish, Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California School of Medicine, San Francisco, first person in the world to prove reversal of heart disease without drugs or surgery. Through Dr. Ornish’s Preventive Medicine Research Institute, during a ten year period, Dr. Brownstein and Nutan have helped introduce Yoga Therapy to over 4,000 patients with advanced heart disease. Dr. Brownstein is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Preventive Medicine and a Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. As a military flight surgeon, he was awarded the prestigious Air Medal by the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Ulka Natu
Dr. Ulka Natu has worked as a consultant gynaecologist in Thane for the last 22 years and is the Co-Director of Nest Hospital in Naupada. In 2000 she received a Diploma in Yoga from Ghantali Mitra Mandal, Thane, and in 2004 she qualified for an Advanced Diploma in Yoga from the University of Mumbai. With Ghantali Mitra Mandal, Thane, she is the Director of its Prajnana Yoga Anusandhana Kendra and the Chief Health Advisor of its Niranjan Yoga Swasthya Kendra. She has assisted in the conduct of a number of health-oriented yoga camps and programs organized by Ghantali Mitra Mandal.
Dr. S. N. Pathan
Dr.S.N. Pathan has a unique combination of an excellent academic career coupled with
outstanding achievements in academic and administration. He started his career as a Lecturer & Head, Department of Botany at Padmashri Vikhe Patil College, Pravaranagar. Later on, he served as Principal in Pune for about five years. He then joined as Principal of esteemed Government Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai with Additional charge as Director, Government Sydenham Institute of Management, Research & Entrepreneurship Education, Mumbai. He was subsequently elevated to the prestigious position of Director of Higher Education, Maharashtra state in 1999 till 13th July 2005.
As Director of Higher education, Maharashtra he Steered Higher Education Policies of State and maintained high academic excellence in the State. He encouraged over 1000 colleges to undergo the process of assessment & accreditation by NAAC, thereby bringing Maharashtra to the top in terms of the number of accredited institution in India. He also held additional charge as Vice-Chancellor (Status) of Deccan college, Pune, Post-graduate and Research Institute, Deemed University for 3 years. His knowledge, understanding, vision and administrative acumen in higher education gave him due recognition when he was appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University on 14th July, 2005 by his Excellency the Chancellor & Governor of Maharashtra .
for the first time in the history of Maharashtra, Dr. Pathan has the privilege of being the Vice-Chancellor from Muslim community (minority) in the 84-year old prestigious University located at Nagpur.
Born on 1st May 1948 in a remote village in Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra Dr. Pathan completed his primary and secondary education locally and later went on to do his graduation and post-graduation in Botany at Shivaji University, Kolhapur. through Earn and Learn Scheme. He obtained Ph.D degree in Eco-Physiology in 1983 from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. His Achievements and excellence in the subject paved way to become Chairman of Board of Studies in Botany in University of Pune during 1984-47
He has many achievements both on the academic and administrative fronts. Beginning with undergraduate department in a rural college and later on establishment of Post-graduate & Research Centre in Botany outside University of Pune for the first time is a pinnacle in his academic career.
By virtue of his position as Director, Higher Education of the State he worked as Member of Management Council, Academic Council and Senate of all the Non-agricultural Universities in Maharashtra. He introduced for the first time the centralized B.Ed. Entrance Examination at the State level, which was widely appreciated. Dr. Pathan was Chairman of the Committee for new Solapur University (Maharashtra). In recognition of his long academic and administrative experience, he was appointed on various selection & other committees both within and outside the State. He has worked as Chairman of the Peer Team of NAAC, Bangalore for colleges in West Bengal, UGC nominee on Advisory Committee for Academic Staff College, Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur and is presently a member of the UGC committee to assess the performance of collages with potential for Excellence, UGC Committee to recommend sanction of plan grants to Universities, UGC Committee to sanction funds for conducting add on courses for colleges in Northern India & on many more U.G.C. Committees.
Another aspect of his academic talent found expression through his writings and publishing several research papers in Eco-Physiology, Bio-diversity and Taxonomy of plants in National and International journals. He has also authored six books in Botany. He has also Written a Book entitled “Quality Improvement Programme in Higher Education though NAAC- A Success story of Maharashtra” to provide guidance and insight to the colleges in the country. This book was appreciated by the Hon’ble Chairman of UGC and was released by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
He has presented several research papers in International Conferences held in Germany, Japan, U.S.A. & Nepal. He also delivered key-note address in an International Conference at Jakarta (Indonesia). He has also worked with Prof. Zigler in Technical University Munich (West Germany ) and in Royal Botanical Garden Kew London on Computer Taxonomy. Widely raveled, Dr. Pathan was a member of the delegation of Government of Maharashtra to visit various Universities In U.S.A. located at Chicago, Seattle, Philadelphia and St. Louis.
Dr. S.N.Pathan is the recipient of many awards, notably being Ideal Teacher Award from Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar and very recently FIE Foundation National Award Presented at Ichalkaranji Which carried a citation & a cash prize of Rs. 50.000/-
Having gone a long way in his life facing obstacles at every stage, Dr. S. N Pathan has got soothing support from his wife, Mrs. Jannat Pathan. They are blessed with two daughters & a son who are in the medical profession and are well placed. Dr. S.N. Pathan always seeks his parents’ blessings & draws inspiration to continue his march towards achieving excellence in every walk of life.
Dr. Veena Londhe
Dr. (Mrs.) Veena A. Londhe M.A, Ph.D. (Sanskrit), is a prolific professor of Sanskrit in Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya (till Sept. 2011) and an Hon. Prof. of Sanskrit in Mumbai University (from Jan. 2012). She has been a visiting faculty at Kaivalyadhama, Mumbai & Mumbai University for Yoga Courses. She has had the opportunity to edit three books on Space-Time-Motion.
