This course aims at training students to take up yoga study at the post graduate level.

Note : Lecture & practical will be conducted at Mumbai Kaivalyadhama and Exam will be conducted at Kaivalyadhama Lonavala ( Hostel & Food Charges will be Extra students will get concession)

MA Yogashastra I Year
Course Fees – Rs. 30,000/-

MA Yogashastra II Year
Course Fees – Rs. 25,000/-

Eligibility

Education :
1. Any Graduation, or its equivalent.
2. A student having any previous qualification of Yoga (minimum six months course from a recognized institution) or pass the Yogasetu examination conducted by KKSU.

Age: 21 – 60 years

Medical Test: Candidates should be medically fit and sound as certified by competent authority.

Selection: Based on merit and timely registration.

2 years (4 semesters)

Class Timings

Saturday: 3pm to 8pm
Sunday: 7 am to 12noon

Before you Register

1. Please upload the eligibility documents (in clear and visible form) on the online form when filling it out. Application forms with inappropriate or unreadable documents will not be processed further.

2. Please mention about additional yoga certificate details in the form itself.

3. Students having Graduation mark sheets and certificates will only be considered and not the students who have appeared for final year Graduation.

Attendance

  • 90% Attendance in Theory and Practical classes (including Teaching Assignment) is compulsory during the course.

Discipline

“ANUSHASAN” Discipline is the first step where the Yoga starts. All the students have to follow the rules and regulations of Kaivalyadhama.

  1. Behavioural Aspect: Respect to the Guru as Yoga is a Tradition of “Guru-Shishya Parampara”. No unwanted discussion in the class when the faculty is teaching. No gossiping in the class.
  2. Dress Code: Uniform provided by Institute.
  3. Punctuality: Punctuality is important as you have to follow Anushasan.
  4. Mobile Phone: Usage of Mobile phone is restricted in the class. Your phone should be switched off before entering to the class.

Educational Tour

Visit to the Mother Institute (Lonavala) is compulsory to all the students. Study tours for the same shall be arranged on timely basis.

Note: Travelling cost additional as actual applicable.

Medium of Instruction

Course will be conducted in English and Hindi. Examinations can be written in English & Hindi & Marathi.

Commitment

The course requires complete and unreserved commitment on the part of the student. The program is adjusted within a very tight time-schedule and therefore requires from the student utmost regularity and punctuality. Before applying for the course, students are requested to make sure that their other commitments will not interfere with the schedule of the course.
