Anushthana refers to the process of remaining in a particular condition, in yogic tradition. This selective training course is for those practitioners who are looking to advance in the field of pranayama. It will provide the opportunity to thoroughly deepen the practical aspects of training and continue learning on the rich physical and spiritual benefits of pranayama. Daily sessions will be initiated by an auspicious fire ceremony (Havana)
Pre-requisites: In order to apply, students must have at least five to seven years of continuous study with Tiwariji or must have attended prior Anusthana workshops.
Dr. O. P. Tiwari is a student of Swami Kuvalyananda. He is one of the few masters teaching Pranayama practice with classical technique, where the scientific outlook is in harmony with traditional wisdom. He has dedicated his life to teaching classical pranayama practices to students all around the world. He has taken forward the legacy of Swami Kuvalyananda under his leadership. On September 8th 2020 Dr. O. P. Tiwari was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from the Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University in India. 60 years ago he decided to leave his PhD studies to serve his teacher’s mission. He then took the responsibility of running Kaivalyadham institute as a full time job. He had a very important role in bringing teachings of Hatha Yoga especially Pranayama to international communities. Dr. O. P. Tiwari Ji’s favourite qualities known amongst his students are his humility, devotion and sincerity. His laughter and optimism is contagious.
