Women have three stages in the life like Pre-reproductive stage (up to 12th year), Reproductive stage (from 12th to 45 years) and post reproductive stage (after 45 years). According to the particular stage, they have specific hormonal influences in the body. Thus, it becomes very important to keep the hormonal balance to keep the body healthy and fit in those stages.
Stress, lack of proper exercise, bad dietary habits and lack of proper knowledge about the management in all stages are the causes of many sufferings in her life. They should be trained in right time to prevent and manage those sufferings.
Pregnancy is another important event in the life in which one must think about the child and mother care through proper way. In the 9 month course of pregnancy she again needs proper guidance about diet, exercise and other things of daily routine. The growth of fetus should consider at physical as well as mental level. Even after pregnancy she needs guidance about regaining the previous tone of the body for health and fitness.
Yoga plays a great role in all above conditions. The workshop is designed specially to create awareness in women about all things and train them about how to follow yogic practices skillfully in different conditions.

Yoga in pregnancy and after
Yoga in Abnormal growths (cancer) in female reproductive organs
Menstrual problems in young girls- Dysmenorrhea, PCOD etc.
Yoga in menopause
Yoga in Psychological problems of women

Workshop Facilitator
Dr. Sharadchandra Bhalekar is an Ayurvedacharya and has done his masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy (M.S. con-psy). He is working as Asst. Professor at Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga & Cultural Synthesis, Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala.
Author of books, “Pranayama-mudra and meditation”, “Anatomy-Physiology of Yoga”, “Pranayama-Mudra- Meditation”, “Therapeutic applications of Hathayogic practices” and “the path of vipassana meditation”.
Dr. Sharadchandra Bhalekar has a unique blend of modern as well as traditional approaches to yoga in his teachings and writings. He has conducted workshops at National and International conferences.
