About the Facilitator:
Dr. Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay, a distinguished former officer of the Indian Police Service, showcases an illustrious career as the former Director General of Police and Commandant General, Home guards and Director, Civil Defence, Maharashtra. Throughout his tenure in the Maharashtra police, he held pivotal roles such as Superintendents of Police, he also served as the Commissioners of Police, Solapur and Nagpur and later took on the responsibilities of the Jt. Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Mumbai city.
Dr. Upadhyay is a scholar with M.A. and Ph.D. in Sanskrit literature and Phonetics. His expertise extends beyond law enforcement, as he has been practicing Mahaprana Yoga for over four decades. A dedicated educator, he has conducted over 200 lecture sessions and workshops on various topics, including Stress Management, Mind Management, and Breathing Techniques. Additionally, he is a prolific author, having penned four books and contributed to numerous spiritual, social, and psychological articles in popular publications. Dr. Upadhyay has been honored with prestigious awards such as the Police Medal for Meritorious Service, President Police Medal for Distinguished Service, Internal Security Medal, Special Service Medal, DG’s Insignia, Sw. Kuvalyananda Yoga award and more, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the field.

Instructions for Meals before/after the Practice
- In case you have consumed a heavy meal, kindly practice after a gap of at least 4 hours.
- After snacking moderate foods (solids/liquids), practice after a gap of at least 1 hour.
- A meal can be taken after 30 minutes of practice.
