On its 99th foundation day, Kaivalyadhama launches YogKala Mahotsav, a unique celebration of Yoga and Art in Lonavala. Through specially curated exhibitions of paintings, photography, and dance performances, the event shall promote artistic expression and also nurture community involvement. YogKala Mahotsav promises an extraordinary blend of local talent as it unfolds into an exhibition and competition open to all age groups within Lonavala’s vibrant community. The grand finale will be held on 7th October 2023, and will be graced by the presence of a prominent national figure.
Kaivalyadhama endeavours to spread important community messages through the event which has the potential to become an annual tradition, fostering unity and engagement within and around Lonavala.

We invite participation from schools, colleges, hotels, corporates, municipal bodies, police departments, the defence, and all institutions based in Lonavala and across Maharashtra to come together for this unique celebration.
Participants are invited to submit their artwork using any medium like poster colour, watercolour, crayons, sketching, oil paints. You can use your own size of canvas/paper etc for the painting.
Shortlisted paintings will be exhibited and even sold at a price determined by you. Winners will receive attractive cash and other prizes.

- Group A: Below 10 years
- Group B: 11 to 20 years
- Group C: 21 to 60 years
- Group D: 60+ years

Showcase a fusion of yoga asana, dance and music through a group performance at Kaivalyadhama on 5th October 2023. The performance must be based on combining flow of different yoga asanas with dance and music.
Participate under the two groups as under
- Group A: Below 15 years
- Group B: 15+
- Interested groups will have to submit a One Minute Video/Reel of their performance to be eligible for shortlisting. The reel can be with or without the performance costume. Reels can be shot using mobile cameras in landscape/horizontal mode.
- Only shortlisted groups will be invited to perform at the event on 7th Oct 2023.
- Each dance performance should be maximum 3 minutes.
- Group size can be maximum 10.
Attractive cash prizes will be awarded to winners.

Event Terms and Conditions
1. All paintings/photos should be submitted to Kaivalyadhama Yoga institute at Lonavala before the event deadline.
2. Participants of Group C & D for YogPaint can collect their Artwork (if required) post the exhibition on 8-9 Oct 2023 from Kaivalyadhama. All other submission of YogPaint and YogClick will be non-returnable.
3. A registration receipt will be issued when entry is submitted. Artwork will be returned only against producing the same.
4. Only selected entries will be exhibited and be eligible for competition.
5. Participants have the option to sell their artwork at a price determined by them. It is not necessary to sell the artwork. The generated proceeds will be divided, with 50% of the price given to the artist and the other 50% as a donation to Kaivalyadhama for the upcoming Cancer Centre. This thoughtful contribution will also enable the buyer to receive an 80G receipt.
6. For YogClick
- Participants shall not access risky locations such as the building terrace, high-rise floors, etc.
- Basic editing, including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photo(s) are acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Photo(s).
- Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
- Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violations, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
- Submission of YogClick will be non-returnable.

Participants are advised to handle their submissions with care and obtain their own insurance coverage if desired.
By submitting your artwork or photographs, you confirm that you are the rightful owner of the work and have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses for any copyrighted materials used.
Kaivalyadhama reserves the right to determine the display and presentation of the artwork or photographs during the exhibition, and we cannot guarantee that all submitted works will be displayed as originally intended.
By participating in the exhibition, you grant Kaivalyadhama the right to use images of your work for promotional purposes. By submitting your artwork or photographs, you agree to indemnify Kaivalyadhama against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the exhibition.
