Learn to work with your breath — consciously, correctly and safely.

Join Kaivalyadhama Mumbai for a six-day Pranayama workshop designed to help you understand the foundations of yogic breathing and build a practice you can continue in your daily life.

Whether you are new to Pranayama or want to deepen your understanding, the workshop brings together traditional yogic knowledge, guided practice and a practical understanding of how breathing influences the body and mind.

What will you learn?

Over six days, you will explore the foundations of Pranayama and gradually learn how to practise different breathing techniques with greater awareness and confidence.

The workshop will introduce you to:

More than learning breathing techniques

Pranayama is not simply about taking deeper breaths.

The way we breathe influences how we feel, how we respond to stress and how efficiently the respiratory system functions.

During the workshop, you will understand both the traditional yogic principles behind Pranayama and the basic science of breathing and the nervous system, so that your practice is not mechanical but informed.

You will also learn when certain practices should be modified or avoided, helping you practise with greater safety and awareness.

Who can join?

The workshop is suitable for:

No advanced yoga experience is required.

By the end of the workshop

You should have a clearer understanding of Pranayama, experience with essential breathing practices, and a simple sequence that you can safely incorporate into your everyday routine.
