This course is accredited as Advanced Certificate Course from Indian Yoga Association (IYA) and the Syllabus is equivalent to Level 3 – (Yoga Teacher and Evaluator) of Yoga Certification Board (YCB).

Please Note: Even though YCB has recognised Kaivalyadhama as Leading Yoga Institute but as per YCB guidelines registration to YCB is to be done separately by students. If anyone wishes to be certified by YCB then exam has to be taken and paid for separately.

The course has been devised for those who are not satisfied by entry level technical knowledge of Yoga and are eager to know about its Philosophical and Psychological backgrounds, as well as why and how they affect the body and mind.

The emphasis in the course is on developing the right perspective and understanding the science and art of Yoga through first-hand experience. The course is specially designed to educate people who are interested in becoming Yoga teachers and serve the society. The courses are designed as per the standard syllabus.

Eligibility

Education: Graduation in any academic stream from a recognized university. Those who are not graduates, but are practitioners and want to enhance their knowledge are welcome to join. However, they will be granted only a letter of attendance, and not the Diploma.

Completing the Sthāpanā – Foundation Course is mandatory, the access to the course (for 3 months) will be given after confirmation of the admission, at no extra cost.

Medium of Instruction

Course will be in English and efforts will be to help students. However, examinations can be written in Hindi and Marathi also.

Criteria of passing

Minimum of 40% marks in each paper (Practical and Theory).

Selection Criteria

1. Candidates must fulfill criteria of eligibility.
2. Candidates, whose forms are accepted, will be required to appear for an interview with original documents for verification, the eligible students will be selected and the decision of selection board will be final.

4. Scan certificates and photo.
5. Admission charges to be paid on the day of interview Rs. 500/-

Last Date of Submission

The last date for submission of application form is 10 days prior to each course.

Attendance

  • 80% Attendance in theory and 80% for practical classes (Including Teaching Assignment) is compulsory during the course.
  • Defaulters will have to appear for the examination in the next academic calendar year after completion of attendance deficit.
  • People with attendance less than 60% will have to take readmission.
Note: Physically challenge students should provide government certificate.

“ANUSHASAN” discipline is the first step where the yoga starts. All the students have to follow the rules and regulations of Kaivalyadhama.

1. Behavioural Aspect: Respect to the Guru as Yoga is a Tradition of “Guru-Shishya Parampara”. No unwanted discussion in the class when the faculty is teaching. No gossiping in the class.

2. Dress Code: T-shirt and Track pant is a daily dress code for the practical as wel as lectures. Kurta-Payjama is for the guest lectures and for the occasion.

3. Punctuality: Punctuality is important as you have to follow anushasan.

4. Mobile Phone: Usage of mobile phone is restricted in the class. Your phone should be switched off before entering to the class.

5. Any other existing code of conduct.

Visiting to the Mother Institute is compulsory to all the students, 2 days and 1 night educational tour for the students of Diploma in Yoga Education.

The course requires complete and unreserved commitment on the part of the student. The program is adjusted within a very tight time-schedule and therefore requires from the student utmost regularity and punctuality. Before applying for the course, students are requested to make sure that their other commitments will not interfere with the schedule of the course.
