Now a days, stress and disturbed life styles are two main unavoidable factors which produces many disturbances in the body. Systems and vital organs lose their natural rhythm because of that the metabolic processes are also seriously disturbed. All these leads to chronic psychosomatic disorders like migraine, insomnia, tension headache, acidity, irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion, constipation, asthma, PCOD, allergies etc. Further these things also take the form of metabolic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, ischemic heart disease, autoimmune diseases and cancer also.
Stressful conditions are unavoidable but one can learn to face the situation with peace and stability for which we need deep relaxation. If one learns to sustain the condition as much as possible, the above diseases are prevented and also managed skillfully. Yogic practices of meditation definitely train the person how to get deep relaxation.
Our weekly workshop contains the proper practical experience of meditation and also the detail discussion about their mechanism, effects along with practical hints. The workshop will make the person able to achieve and sustain deep relaxed state of mind. This will help in building calm and cool yogic personality.

Workshop Facilitator
Dr. Sharadchandra Bhalekar is an Ayurvedacharya and has done his masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy (M.S. con-psy). He is working as Asst. Professor at Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga & Cultural Synthesis, Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala.
Author of books, “Pranayama-mudra and meditation”, “Anatomy-Physiology of Yoga”, “Pranayama-Mudra- Meditation”, “Therapeutic applications of Hathayogic practices” and “the path of vipassana meditation”.
Dr. Sharadchandra Bhalekar has a unique blend of modern as well as traditional approaches to yoga in his teachings and writings. He has conducted workshops at National and International conferences.
