Date: 21st – 24th December 2015

Venue: Kaivalyadhama Lonavala

Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute is famous of it’s commitment to traditional yogic texts as a source of all the yogic practices. In this pre-conference workshop we invite you to participate in our interactive 3 day retreat which will deepen your understanding of traditional Yoga based on texts not younger then 500 years.

We will explore and master the Kaivalyadhama style that originates from Patanjali and Swami Kuvalyanandaji: the ancient practices of Kriyas, Asanas, Pranayama and Meditation. You will rediscover the scientific and practical meaning of these classical teachings.

If you are attending the International Conference on Yoga and Education this workshop will prepare you also for the discussion around different schools of yoga, giving you a deeper appreciation of the Kaivalyadhama Lineage. In addition we will  look into adapting the traditional practices if need be, following yogic protocol.

But essentially the objective of this workshop is to expand your knowledge of the roots of Yoga and to reinforce your grasp of classical style of yogic techniques that forms the enduring backbone of present-day variations.
