Integrated Holistic Living

The 10th International Conference on Yoga and Mental Health:
Scope, Evidence, and Evolution aims to initiate a futuristic debate and discussion for integrating traditional Yogic science with modern psychological systems, at the policy level.

This symposium calls for a collective methodological and practical approach, to build global sustained resilience. We believe that effective frameworks can provide long-term answers to the world for the most powerful but economical ways to preserve, promote, and manage mental and emotional health – to lead a happy, enriched, and holistic life.

The Need for Synthesis

Patanjali’s Yogasutra explains that all problems start in the mind
due to klesha or inborn mental afflictions. These later manifest in the body and continue to affect the mind.

Psychology, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy

  • Identify and deal with anxieties for achieving sustained and improved moods
  • Better quality of life through mental health awareness
  • Comprehensively address a range of conditions from routine concerns, to chronic disorders, and pathophysiological situations

Traditional Ashtanga Yoga

  • Combines asanas (postures), pranayama (regulated breathing), shuddhikriya (purification), and meditation
  • Stimulates inner balance through body cleansing, physical agility, and mental enrichment
  • Naturally boosts positive endorphins to cope with depression, while restoring and relaxing

The symbiotic outlook of Yoga and Mental Health calls for
innovative research to develop enduring synergies for positive mind-body connections.

Conference Aims

Initiate debate and discussion to develop synergies in Yoga and Mental Health at a global level

Encourage futuristic frameworks that can be implemented

Address a range of mental well-being issues from routine conditions to chronic ailments

Publish effective solutions to be recommended at the policy level
