This course is accredited as an Advanced Certificate Course from the Indian Yoga Association (IYA) and follows a syllabus equivalent to Level 3 – (Yoga Teacher and Evaluator) of Yoga Certification Board (YCB).
Please Note: YCB has recognized Kaivalyadhama as a Leading Yoga Institute. However, YCB certification requires separate registration and examination, which must be paid for separately.
The course has been devised for those who are not satisfied by entry-level technical knowledge of Yoga and are eager to know about its Philosophical and Psychological backgrounds, as well as why and how they affect the body and mind.
The emphasis in the course is on developing the right perspective and understanding the science and art of Yoga through first-hand experience. The course is specially designed to educate people who are interested in becoming Yoga teachers and serve society. The courses are designed as per the standard syllabus.

Theory Lectures
Live Online: Monday to Friday
Timing: 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
*Recording of the lectures will be shared with the students
Practice Days On-site
Days: Saturday & Sunday
Timings: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
*The practices will be conducted at the centers selected by the student. The center has the discretion to change the timings of the practices.
Special Sundays:
(Shuddhikriya) (Shuddhi Kriya practice requires students to arrive earlier at the centre. Specific timing details will be communicated in advance.)
Medium of Instruction
Course will be in English and efforts will be to help students. However, examinations can be written in Hindi and Marathi also.
Criteria of Passing
Minimum of 40% marks in each paper (Practical and Theory).
Eligibility
Education: Graduation in any academic stream from a recognized university. Those who are not graduates but are practitioners and want to enhance their knowledge are welcome to join. However, they will be granted only a letter of attendance, and not the Diploma.
Completing the Basic Course is mandatory, the access to the course (for 3 months) will be given after confirmation of the admission, at no extra cost.
Age: No limit
Medical Fitness: Candidates should be medically fit and sound as certified by competent authority
Selection Criteria
- Candidates must fulfill criteria of eligibility.
- Candidates, whose forms are accepted, will be required to appear for an interview with original documents for verification, the eligible students will be selected, and the decision of selection board will be final.
*The course will run simultaneously at 5 Centres of Kaivalyadhama.

80% Attendance in theory and 80% for practical classes (Including Teaching Assignment) is compulsory during the course. Defaulters will have to appear for the examination in the next academic calendar year after completion of attendance deficit. People with attendance less than 60% will have to take readmission.
Note: Physically challenged students should provide government certificate.
“ANUSHASAN” discipline is the first step where the yoga starts. All the students have to follow the rules and regulations of Kaivalyadhama.
- Behavioural Aspect: Respect to the Guru as Yoga is a Tradition of “Guru-Shishya Parampara”. No unwanted discussion in the class when the faculty is teaching. No gossiping in the class.
- Dress Code: T-shirt and Track pant is dress code for the practical as well as lectures.
- Punctuality: Punctuality is important as you have to follow anushasan.
- Mobile Phone: Usage of mobile phone is restricted in the class. Your phone should be switched off before entering the class.
- While attending the online lecture all students have to keep their Camera ON. Failing which the student will be barred from attending the lecture.
- Any other existing code of conduct.
Visiting to the Mother Institute (Lonavala Campus) is compulsory to all the students, 2 days educational tour for the students of PG Diploma in Yoga Education - Hybrid.
The course requires complete and unreserved commitment on the part of the student. The program is adjusted within a very tight time-schedule and therefore requires from the student utmost regularity and punctuality. Before applying for the course, students are requested to make sure that their other commitments will not interfere with the schedule of the course.

- Please upload the eligibility documents (in clear and visible form) on the online form when filling it out. Application forms with inappropriate or unreadable documents will not be processed further.
- Please mention about additional yoga certificate details in the form itself. No certificates will be entertained beyond last date.
- Students having Graduation mark sheets and certificates will only be considered and not the students who have appeared for final year Graduation.
- Confirmation of admission will be given after interview.
- Payment link of fees will be shared to short-listed students. Payment of fees is important for confirmation of seat.
