Yoga for Women’s Health

Yoga – for Hormonal Balance & Women’s Wellbeing

Hormonal health is not only about hormones — it is shaped by stress, breath, rest, rhythm, and the nervous system.

Many women experience PCOS, irregular cycles, painful menstruation, or perimenopausal changes while managing constant physical and emotional demands.

This programme offers a yoga-based pathway to support women’s hormonal and menstrual wellbeing through asanas, pranayama, and deep relaxation practices.

How Yoga Supports Hormonal Balance?

Hormonal regulation is closely linked to the Hypothalamic–Pituitary–Ovarian (HPO) axis, a sensitive communication system influenced by stress levels, sleep quality, breath patterns, and emotional state.

Chronic stress can disturb this axis.

Yoga practices help by:

  • Calming the nervous system
  • Supporting healthy stress–hormone interaction
  • Improving circulation to the pelvic region
  • Encouraging natural hormonal rhythm through relaxation and breath awareness

The approach is gentle, gradual, and respectful of the body’s intelligence.

All these practices are carefully curated under the guidance of Yoga master teacher Dr. Sharadchandra Bhalekar (Kaivalyadhama)
