Detailed Study of Haṭhapradīpikā Text

With Dr. O. P. Tiwari

Assisted by Nadia Faruki

If matter is energy in it’s ultimate form,
how do we redefine the body,
it’s potential and it’s transformation?

Hatha yoga practices initiate a process in the physical body whereby the pranic currents and mental forces which interact with each other in the scheme of life and existence may be transformed. Unless the physical molecules are transformed, it is no use discussing compassion or unity. That in essence was the message of Hathapradipika, a 13th-century text written by Nath Yogi Swatmarama. Hatha Yoga as per Hathapradipika prescribes Asana, Shatkarmas and Pranayama, Mudra and Bandha to reach Samadhi.

Hathapradipika is possibly the most comprehensive text available on Hathayoga and is the yoga that is being practiced by millions in the world at present. A study of this text is considered essential by many Yoga teachers.

We look forward to inviting you to our online study of Hatha Pradipika with Dr. O. P. Tiwari, facilitated by Nadia Faruki. This online workshop has been designed especially for the student/s / seeker who would like to dive deeper into the study of this text.
