Workshop Facilitator

Brazilian journalist Fernanda Capobianco was responsible for bringing Bistrô and Patisserie Payard to Brazil in 2006. Vegan since she was a child, she developed unique recipes for delicious plant-based mousses and sweets without eggs or sugar. Fernanda has permanently opted for healthy, fresh, natural and organic ingredients. And she expanded her wisdom and expertise by creating vegan sandwiches and dishes.

She became a Naturopath after meeting Doctor Efrain Melara in Brazil at the age of 22.

“It was life – changing for my health and my life. I became a Naturopath Researcher after that” said Nanda.

When she moved to New York in 2009, Nanda became a Board member of the New York Coalition of Healthy School Foods, a non – profit government institution that provides healthy food to New York public school children and students.

In 2014, Nanda founded Vegan Divas; pioneering the vegan desserts industry by creating a vegan, cholesterol – free, organic and kosher bakery and patisserie. She had a goal from the beginning: “My dream was to create healthy gourmet pastries with the quality and presentation similar to those offered by the best bakeries,” she said.
